Some music I've made

I play keyboard for piano and other simulated instrument sounds, through MIDI into Bitwig. I also have a basic electronic drum set which I can play poorly. I also used Demucs to extract vocal and other stems from songs to do covers and mashups. I can recommend, it's quite good at extraction and it's fun to play along.

Running in the 90s

A jazz cover of the eurobeat song. I played the piano and simulated jazz guitar through Pianoteq 8, and SWAM audio modeling's double bass, all live but in separate takes, backed by static drum loop.

Satori

Satori's boss theme from tohou, yet another cover. I played all the instruments including drums in separate takes, from keyboard. the guitar is from Applied Acoustics Strum gs-2's presets, and the electric piano is something in Pianoteq, drum is addictive drums 2.

freestyle over two chords

A jam session with myself, unstructured. This I did play everything including the drums, poorly. I can't remember what the inspiration was to export this. there's a bit of Song of Time from Ocarina of Time there I guess, and some neat sections. May edit later, dunno.

Don't Say Funky

This is a demucs-powered anime song cover (Don't Say Lazy) of the extracted vocals, plus a drum loop. I played the other instruments in separate takes.

Easy Listen

Another demucs K-On cover, jazz this time.

Over the Rainbow in the Dark

A very high concept mashup. It's me singing and playing the piano, no demucs stems. I dunno why I did it exactly, but I do like the Dio song.

Erik Satie Wants to Rule the World

Another high concept mashup, piano solo. Though with more heavy midi editing after recording live to get it to fit.

More funny anime mashups

Dumb ideas made possible by demucs. None of my playing, though I did have fun and good practice stretching and smashing tracks together in my DAW for this. Probably not interesting unless you also like 2010s-era weebshit.
